6 cups water

2 tbsp ginger, about 2x1-inch piece, peeled and thinly sliced

½ cup sugar

2 cinnamon sticks

6 cloves, whole

10 Celestial Seasonings Red Zinger tea bags

½ cup amber rum, chilled

2 oranges, thinly sliced

1 lemon, thinly sliced

In a heavy medium saucepan bring the water to a boil.

Add the ginger, sugar, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.

Return to a boil and stir until the sugar dissolves.

Remove the pan from the heat and immediately add the tea bags.

Let sit until the tea is cool.

Remove the tea bags and chill overnight.

Before serving, add the rum and citrus slices.
