1 lb pork chops, cut ½-inch thick

1 tsp oil

½ cup apple juice

½ cup water

chives , chopped, to taste

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

⅛ tsp salt

In medium skillet, heat oil until hot.

Add chops and brown on both sides.

Drain and discard excess fat. Add apple juice, water, chopped chives,

Worcestershire sauce and salt. Bring to boil.

Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until pork chops are tender.

Serve with sauce in skillet.

Garnish with chopped chives.

If thicker sauce is desired, combine 1 teaspoon of flour with 2 teaspoons of water.

Add flour mixture to liquid in skillet.

Cook and stir until thickened, 1 minute.
