When I make soup in my house, we love to have dunkers. Dunkers are great pieces of bread that can soak up the broth, fill you up and complete the meal. These Parmesan Baguette Croutes are the perfect dunkers!
How to Make Parmesan Baguette Croutes:
This is basically a very simple garlic bread recipe. Grab a baguette at the store. I prefer sourdough. Slice it up into about 30 pieces.
Slices of baguette are brushed with a garlic butter/oil mixture.
Top the garlic buttered bread slices with shredded Parmesan cheese. If you like a cheese with a stronger flavor, use shredded Asiago cheese instead.
Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and the bread slices are crispy. Give the bread slices a sprinkle of fresh parsley, for garnish. And to make them pretty.
