6 cups vanilla ice cream

6 cups instant pudding, any flavor

1 sleeve Ritz crackers

1 stick butter, or margarine

1 container cool whip

Leave ice cream sitting out while preparing to soften it.

You don’t want melted but softened.

In small sauce pan melt butter.

Put Ritz crackers in plastic bag, crush until fairly fine.

Place in small bowl. Add melted butter, mix thoroughly, place in bottom of 13x9 dish.

Spread out evenly.

This is your crust.In mixing bowl put in ice cream.

Mix pudding thru the ice cream thoroughly.

Pour onto the crust and smooth out.

Top with Cool Whip and refrigerate.

Cut into portions and serve.
