1 lb hamburger

onion, small, coarsely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
3 tbsp chili powder
1 cup frozen corn
1 cup tomatoes, chopped
16 oz tomato paste
1 cup instant rice
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 ½ cups water
Brown hamburger and onion and garlic.
Drain any fat. This encourages the hamburger to brown.
Add back to pan, add remaining ingredients.
Put lid on pan over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Will thicken as cooks.
