8 tomatoes, halved lengthwise
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
Drizzle the olive oil over the cut sides of the tomatoes, and sprinkle with garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Place tomatoes, cut sides up, onto the preheated grill, and grill for about 4 minutes until the tomatoes start to sizzle and show blackened grill marks.
Flip the tomatoes over and grill for about 3 more minutes until the garlic turns golden brown.
Serve and enjoy.
