1 lb ground turkey
15 oz tomatoes , with basil
garlic
oregano
½ cup marsala wine
basil
garlic
fennel seed , to top
parmesan , or romano cheese, to top
Layer ingredients in the order listed, starting with 2 tablespoons of olive oil drizzled on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Sprinkle basil, garlic, and fennel seed on top, and then cheese.
Drizzle olive oil on top.
Cook on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours.
