My family loves this recipe because it’s quite different than the typical taco recipe.  If you’re looking for a new dinner recipe, I think you’ll feel good about giving this one a try.

How to Make Family Style Pork Tacos:

Chopped pork tenderloin chunks are tossed in a simple spice mixture with onion, cider vinegar and fresh cilantro.  After a quick stir-fry, the pork is tossed with (non-traditional!) shredded mozzarella cheese and a little more cilantro.  Then it’s ready for the fixings!

Note:  if you’re a cilantro hater… or if anyone in your family says “no” to cilantro, simply serve it on the side or leave it out entirely.  I personally like cilantro, but I understand that many people don’t care for it. Another note: If you’re weirded out at the idea of using mozzarella in tacos, substitute the cheese of your choice.  I suggest trying pepper jack cheese or a Mexican blend. The beauty of tacos is that you can choose to serve them with whatever you’d like.  For this recipe, I recommend serving these Family Style Tacos with avocado, lettuce, salsa and lime.
