½ cup onion, chopped
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 lbs pasta shells, cooked, drained
4 ½ cups mozzarella, shredded
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 eggs, beaten
½ cup parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp Italian spices
26 oz spaghetti sauce
In a large skillet, cook the beef and onion until it is completely browned.
Drain any excess liquid, sprinkle with salt and pepper and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the pasta, mozzarella, ricotta, eggs, parmesan, and spices.
Transfer to a baking dish and top with the beef mixture and spaghetti sauce.
Cover and bake for 45 minutes, then take it out.
Top it with the remaining mozzarella and bake uncovere for about 20 more minutes.
