2 cups milk

¼ cup brown sugar

1 tbsp butter, melted

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp cinnamon

1 cup steel-cut oats

1 cup apple, finely chopped

½ cup raisins , or dates

½ cup walnuts , or almonds, chopped

Grease your crockpot using a non-stick cooking spray and throw in all of your ingredients inside.

Give it a quick mix until everything is well incorporated.

Cover the crockpot and put it on low heat. Cook it overnight for 8 to 9 hours.

Stir the oatmeal once done. Top it off with more bananas, raisins, or nuts of your choice and indulge in your delicious crockpot oatmeal!

You can use old-fashioned rolled oats and adjust the cooking time for 3 to 4 hours on high heat.  Dairy-free milk and coconut sugar make great alternatives for evaporated milk and regular brown sugar.
