2 ¼ cups flour

½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

1 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1 tsp almond extract

2 tbsp instant coffee mix

1 cup chocolate chips

½ cup almonds , or walnuts

Cream the butter and brown sugar together.

Sift together and blend in the flour, salt, baking powder, coffee mix, almond extract, chocolate chips, and nuts.

Press into a well-greased 13x9-inch pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes.

Cut into squares while still warm.
