For donuts:

2 cups flour

½ cup sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp butter, melted

¾ cup buttermilk

For coating:

¼ cup butter, melted

⅓ cup sugar

1 ½ Tbsp cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a donut pan with cooking spray and set aside.

In a medium bowl mix together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.

In a different bowl whisk the eggs, vanilla, butter, and buttermilk.

Stir the mixture into the dry ingredients by hand until fully combined.

Fill each spot in the donut tin about ⅔ – ¾ of the way full with batter.

Bake in the oven for 9 to 12 minutes.

Let them cool.

While they’re cooling, mix together the coating.

Once the donuts are cool enough to handle safely, dunk them into the coating.

Serve and enjoy.
