1 lb braising steak, cut into cubes
2 onions, chopped
1 chilli, chopped
1 tbsp cumin
2 tsp turmeric
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tsp masala
salt and pepper , to taste
In a frying pan, cook the beef for 4 to 5 minutes until it has browned.
Toss in the onions and continue to cook for 5 minutes.
Add the chili, cumin, turmeric, masala, salt, and pepper. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
Place the beef mixture and tomato sauce in the crockpot.
Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
30 minutes before serving, stir in the masala.
Serve this warm Beef Curry in the Crockpot over a steaming bed of rice!
